Hi! My name is John Stankiewicz. I am the proud father of four children; two are US Marines. On the right is our youngest when he graduated from MCRD boot camp (currently he is serving in Afghanistan).
I am the President and Principal of Sage Associates. I established Sage after 30 successful years with Fortune 500 companies. The majority of this time (25+ years) has been involved in international business, including 6 overseas assignments spanning 16 years. I have travelled extensively (both the USA and internationally). I have facility in Polish, Russian and Spanish.

I realized that the world was getting smaller and that I could contribute my international experience to firms that are emerging within a global economy. Sage Associates was created with that mission in mind.
About Sage
I had a rewarding career with firms such as WR Grace, BFI, Waste Management and USA Waste. My background includes significant experience with private equity firms. I have led enterprises at their start-up, IPO, growth and mature phases. My credentials include a CPA, MBA and I have held senior level positions including CFO and COO. I obtained my BS in Managerial Sciences from Manhattan College and my MBA in Accounting from Pace University.
